My Vision for ITE
Strengthening Member Engagement & Investment
ITE has done an excellent job making the organization relevant to its members. However, as we look forward to the next two decades and beyond, we need to make sure we adapt to the change in technology, as well as the direction that our industry is headed. With the increased competition with other reputable professional organizations, we need to be strategic in strengthening member engagement and demonstrating return on their investment from ITE, which will increase membership retention.
ITE will remain strong as we grow the volunteer talent pool and make them feel invested in giving their time to the Institute, and by virtue to our profession.
Innovating for a Safer, Technology-Driven Future
This includes adapting to technological changes (AI, CAV, Big Data, Video-Analytics) which impact our workflows, workforce, and how we design safer infrastructure solutions for our communities. My goal is to ensure ITE adapts to the demands that will shape the future of our profession.
One major area of opportunity is partnering with vendors offering near-miss analytics (video/radar technology) and creating an on-demand SaaS platform for members—similar to OTISS.

I believe elevating diversity in our workforce helps recruit and retain talent—critical to the transformation of the transportation industry's success. ITE can play a vital role by offering workshops at District, Section, and Chapter levels that welcome talent from diverse backgrounds and communities.

A Commitment to Service & Leadership
Serving as ITE International President would be the honor of my life. My leadership roles over the past two decades—both professionally and in volunteer service—have allowed me to grow and understand my strengths, improving me as a leader and individual.
ITE has shaped my career, opened doors, and allowed me to build lifelong friendships. I view ITE as a platform to create opportunities for others and to positively impact communities through smarter, safer transportation solutions.
